The Rich Valley Public Library offers a variety of programs. Please see below for a listing of our ongoing programs.


Wednesdays 11:00 am-11:45 am

Come in and join us for stories, crafts and fun at Storytime every Wednesday in the Library at 11:00 am. All children ages 0-5 are welcome to join us for this free program. Every third Wednesday of the month we will alternate between Tents and Tunnels, Play Doh, and Lego Fun.

This program is funded by FCSS.

Adult Whist

Every second and fourth Friday of the month at 7:30 pm

Like playing cards? Join us every second and fourth Friday of the month in the yellow room at 7:30 pm. Cost is $2 per person.

The last Whist of the season will be on April 26, 2019. 

Movie Night

Saturday May 4, 2019 at 6:00 pm The Nutcracker and The Four Realms (PG)

Doors open at 5:00 pm and the movie starts at 6:00 pm in the Yellow Room. Admission is free. Concession will be available. Attendees are welcome to bring pillows or blankets.


Tuesday 10:00-11:15 am.

We would like to welcome Donna, who will be teaching Akhanda style yoga, in the Yellow Room on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 11:15 am. Yoga is a wonderful way to stay strong and flexible for life.

Our next session will run on Tuesday April 9, April 16, April 23, April 30, May 7 and May 14, 2019.

Our last session before summer will run on Tuesday May 21, May 28, June 4, June 11, June 18 and June 25, 2019.

The cost is $60.00 for six classes or $12 per drop in fee. Please contact the library at 780-967-3525 to register or drop in on Tuesdays.

Destination Desire-Mental Heath Presentation

Saturday May 11, 2019 at 2:00-3:00 pm

Join Barb Flett, whose previous presentations were Picking Up The Pieces and To Feel Or Not To Feel, for a mental heath presentation. Destination Desire is a simple approach on taking a look at our self to create a deep desire to believe in yourself.
