The Rich Valley Public Library offers a variety of programs. Please see below for a listing of our ongoing programs.


Wednesdays 11:00 am-11:45 am

Come in and join us for stories, crafts and fun at Storytime every Wednesday at the Library at 11:00 am. All children ages 0-5 are welcome to join us for this free program. Every third Wednesday of the month we will alternate between Tents and Tunnels, Play Doh, and Lego Fun.


Tuesdays 7:30 pm-8:30 pm

Join Melissa, our yoga instructor, in the Yellow Room on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 8:30 pm. Yoga is a wonderful way to stay strong and flexible for life.  

The current session of Yoga will run April 24, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22 and May 29.

The cost is $60.00 for six classes or $12 per drop in fee. Please contact the library at 780-967-3525 to register or drop in on Tuesdays.

Adult Whist

Every second and fourth Friday of the month at 7:30 pm

Like playing cards? Join us every second and fourth Friday of the month in the yellow room at 7:30 pm. Cost is $2 per person.

The last Whist of the season will be on April 27, 2018.

Movie Night

Saturday May 26, 2018 at 6:00 pm The Greatest Showman (PG)

Doors open at 5:00 pm and the movie will start at 6:00 pm in the Yellow Room. Admission is free. Concession will be available. Attendees are welcome to bring pillows or blankets.

BEE Program 

Wednesday May 23, 2018 

Ages 0-4 years old from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

Ages 5-6 years old from 1:00-2:30 pm.

The Basic Early Literacy Program will provide early literacy ideas, activities and games which can give your child a head start in their reading and writing skills before they begin school. From hand eye coordination to recognizing their letters, the BEE Program has activities to help all children ages 0-6 become early readers and writers.

Are you searching for literacy apps for your preschooler? Ever wondered how to download an ebook, hoopla or how to utilize our eresources? The Rich Valley Public Library will have a tech savvy teen who can show you what is available to download. We will be holding the literacy app advice from 5:30-6:30 pm and continuing with the tutorial for our library services from 6:30-7:30 pm.
