The Rich Valley Public Library offers a variety of programs. Please see below for a listing of our ongoing programs.

Storytime

Storytime is starting on September 11, 2019

Wednesdays 11:00 am-11:45 am

Come in and join us for stories, crafts and fun at Storytime every Wednesday in the Library at 11:00 am. All children ages 0-5 are welcome to join us for this free program. Every third Wednesday of the month we will alternate between Tents and Tunnels, Play Doh, and Lego Fun.

This program is funded by FCSS.


Adult Whist

Every second and fourth Friday of the month at 7:30 pm

Like playing cards? Join us every second and fourth Friday of the month in the yellow room at 7:30 pm. Cost is $2 per person.

The last Whist of the season will be on April 26, 2019. 


Teen Club

Tuesday 7:00-9:00 pm

Teen Club is back! We will be starting on July 2, 2019 from 7:00-9:00 pm.  Prepare for a weekly minute to win it challenge, gaming competitions and free Wi-Fi! We will be organizing what activities we want to do during the summer on the first Tuesday and we invite you to bring your ideas. Anyone ages 12 years and older is welcome.

TD Summer Reading Club

Wednesday

Ages 2-4 from 10:00-10:30 am Ages 5-8 from 10:30-11:30 am Ages 9-12 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm

The TD Summer Reading Club is back at the Rich Valley Public Library. This program is designed to encourage children to explore ideas, enjoy reading, have fun and maintain literacy skills throughout the summer holidays. TD Summer Reading Club begins on Wednesday July 3, 2019 and the theme this year is Natural World. Each week we will explore the world around us as we hold weekly challenges, crafts and of course stories and reading. This is a free program available to children from 2-12 years old.

The TD Summer Reading Club is a free program, so you can join us any week you want. Registration is not necessary but if you know you are participating please stop by the Rich Valley Public Library or contact us so we have enough prizes.
